A visual communication company is one that deals with the Designing and Development of Audio/visual Promotional Content. The difference or distinction of a VCC is being self sufficient in all the processes and resources of the designing and development process. The process consists of 4 major areas which are:

1. Pre-Visualization
2. Pre-Production
3. Production
4. Post Production

All above areas require in-depth knowledge of each, skilled team and resources. Since this is a highly specialized segment in advertising industry, we do not offer our services for Media Release/Buying and Mass Production of other material such as Printing, etc.

Q: What we do? What services does a visual communication company offers?
A: Our services mainly include the Designing and Development of Architectural Walkthroughs and TV Commercials, Brochures, Outdoor campaigns (Billboards, banners, Rollup stands etc), Print Campaigns (Press Ads, Leaflets, Flyers etc), Stationery (Letterhead, Visiting Cards, Application Form, Payment Receipts, Payment Schedules, Envelopes, File Covers etc.) Web Content/websites etc.

Q2: What are the standard charges for your services?
A: There are no standard rates for animation or any project. Every assignment is highly customized and itself got unique requirements. Therefore a custom analysis of the scope of work is always required to asses the cost of campaign development.

Q: How do you assess scope of work of a project?
A: Based on the information and project brief, a project is assessed on the basis of size of the project (type of inventories/sellable areas) and scope/magnitude of campaign. The project brief and information is gathered through developing a detailed Marketing Brief; containing Profile of Target Market/Buyers, Project Positioning, USP/Important Features, Competitive Edge in comparison to the other projects, Unit Costs, etc., Architectural Data; including Floor Plans and 3D Model (in case of absence of 3D Model, we require Section Drawings and Rendered Elevation Views, apart from Floor Plans) and Items/Content to be Developed such as Animated Walkthroughs, Brochures, Print Campaign, Outdoor Campaign, Website.

Q: What is your next step after initiating the assessment?
A: Based on the above details and information, we develop a Proposal which includes the concept/the Big Idea behind the campaign along with the cost estimates. Upon approval and principle agreement on the concept and other necessary arrangements, we proceed with the production process.

Q: What are your payment terms?
A: We follow the standard industry payment terms which is 75% advance at the time of confirmation of assignment and remaining 25% on or before the time of delivery of final assignment. The terms and conditions can be modified under certain circumstances.

Q: What is my role (being client) in all the creative process?
A: We require your active participation throughout the process especially at the time of approvals and feed back on creative contents. It helps us to generate media content exactly
in conjunction with your overall marketing strategy.

Q: What are the methods of approvals of deliverables?
A: Generally, the items are shared with clients in the form of Preview and Low-Resolution Imagery. The items for Electronic Media (Animated Walkthrough, TVCs, Websites, etc.) are previewed on screen; where as the preview of Print Materials are generally done through paper printed from/dummy printouts.

All meetings are recorded through Contact Reporting (minutes of the meeting) which help us keep a record of all the meetings as well as keep our clients informed about the progress, agreements and decisions taken during a meeting and other necessary information.

This gives interGraphics track of best customer satisfaction.

Q: What’s the future growth potential of the Architectural animation industry?
A: Architectural animation is considered to be very "fancy" by most small firms simply because of the cost to create an accurate 3D model. Three-dimensional architectural animations take a bigger team of artists and animators and much longer time to make than architectural rendering. However, many architectural firms are now opening their arms to architectural animation because it attracts investors and customers who may not know much about building designs. In other words, architectural animation is considered to have a bright future ahead of it as more and more architects are turning to three-dimensional models instead of two-dimensional pictures.
